Repository Policies
The Repository UIMA has a set of policies governing the submission, management, and dissemination of documents. All users must comply with these policies when depositing or accessing items in the repository.
Submission Policy
- All deposits must be original works of the submitting author(s).
- Metadata must be accurate and complete.
- Submitters are responsible for ensuring they have rights to deposit the work.
Access Policy
- Repository items are available under open access unless restricted by copyright.
- Users must respect copyright and licensing terms.
- Any reuse of materials must follow stated license conditions.
Metadata Policy
- All metadata must comply with repository standards.
- Subjects, titles, abstracts, and keywords must be provided where applicable.
- Controlled vocabularies should be used when available.
Document Policy
- Accepted formats include PDF, DOCX, HTML, and other supported formats.
- Files must not contain viruses or malicious content.
- Deposit verification is required before the document becomes publicly available.
Ethical Policy
- Users must ensure submissions comply with ethical standards.
- Plagiarism and fraudulent submissions are strictly prohibited.
- Any suspected violations will be reviewed by repository administrators.
Privacy Policy
- User information collected during registration will be kept confidential.
- Data will only be used to manage repository submissions and communications.
- Users can request corrections or removal of personal information where applicable.
